Ayurveda has a very important say in this field. It can and it has very effectively treated such problems and brought happiness to the life of various disappointed and disheartened couples.

It is important to note here that the sperms count, sperm health and their transport are considered as the main aspects responsible for man fertility. If the findings of semen indicate below the mark sperm count, poor sperm health and the ineffective transport of semen, it means the problem of infertility is mostly temporary and curable. These malady can well be treated. It goes beyond saying that Ayurveda has effective cures without any side effects for these malady. Oligospermia: Normal Sperm count in a male semen is 20 million / milliliter to 120 million / milliliter. Oligospermia also known as oligozoospermia can be defined as a problem of low concentration of sperm, means less count of sperm in per milliliter semen. It is a common problem of male infertility.

Earlier, sperm concentrations of less than 20 million sperm/ml was considered as low or oligospermic, but recently, WHO has revised this sperm criteria. Sperm less than 15 million per ml has been defined as Oligospermia or oligozoospermia. It is important to note that sperm concentrations fluctuate time to time and this problem of oligospermia may be either temporary or permanent.

Oligospermia can be classified into three categories

Asthenospermia: Asthenozoospermia can be defined as low sperm motility. In other words Asthenozoospermia also known as asthenospermia is the condition of low motility of the sperm cells in the semen. Here, it is not out of context to mention that motility of semen is a measure of the sperm cell’s ability to move straight and fast forward.
In fact, motility, an important quality of male fertility, is associated with the ability of getting a women pregnant naturally. It is essential that a sperm must complete a long journey through the vagina without being decayed and reaches to the fallopian tubes to penetrate the egg cell to fertilize it.

Low motility of sperm lessens its possibility to fertilize an egg. The reasons are simple, the woman vagina contains murderous liquid for the sperms. A healthy and fast motile sperm increases the chance of conception.

After clinical tests if a male has less than 32% of the sperm cells enough motile in his semen, means that he has the problem of asthenozoospermia. Low motility is also possible in a male having a normal/ good sperm count.

It has not been ascertained as yet why some men have better sperm motility than others. As per the studies, asthenozoospermia may be genetic or may simply be the effect of the aging process of sperm function.

Asthenozoospermia too can be treated or prevented with our well proved Ayurvedic treatment and therapy. In addition to Ayurvedic medicine and related therapy, vitamin C and E are given to support the healthy sperm cell development. Zinc is also considered a vital nutrient for sperm motility. Life-style changes are also needed to improve sperm parameters.
Teratozoospermia: It is also known as teratospermia. It is a condition of sperm alteration where a large number of spermatozoa is available with abnormal morphology. In simple terms, it is the condition of availability of a large number of sperm with bad/ abnormal shape.

Earlier, people having only 14% normal shape sperms were diagnosed teratozoospermiac. World Health Organisation (WHO) has changed this criteria. Now people having only 5% or less than that properly shaped spermatozoa can be diagnosed as teratozoospermiac. Now, a man has to show more than 96% of his spermatozoa with morphologically abnormality to be declared as dysfunctional spermatozoa.

Bad shaped sperms are unable to swim properly to reach the egg. And even if they reach to the egg, being bad shaped, they are unable to enter into it (egg). Sperms can have shape abnormality in head, neck or tail.

We also offer very effective treatment for this malady. Along with our well proved Ayurvedic medicine and therapy, we suggest cold washing of man’s testicles. Besides, we recommend loose garments to such patients. They are also advised to ensure the direct contact of mobile phone with testicles.
